It was February, the month of love, the month of chocolate candies. Chocolate, chocolate hearts, red and pink M & M's, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate boxes, chocolate anything! 'S just one day, right? What is evil in the outer part of a day? There are some people who can not handle – the person in a "diet" or healthy diet plan that attempted to weight, diabetes can not eat sugar, the person is allergic to loseto him [and may not even know it] and then people like me, a chocoholic history. For people like me, February 14, a challenge and something I learned to survive. I also want to help them survive:
First, let me tell you, you can survive without chocolate on February 14. So I thought this is an impossible task. But I'm here for you to say that it is possible. I did. And I never thought I would. I grew up in a good family with parents who have cared forholidays. We always woke up Valentine's with offers on the table – the heart candy with sweet words, flowers, or amulets, and a big heart-shaped box of chocolates. Every year without fail. So if I did, I still Valentine's Day is celebrated each year, or I had a friend or not. And if I see my parents on Valentine's Day, you can be sure of having a heart-shaped box of chocolates to bring, if not for me, for my children. When I married a man who reallylove me. I mean, really loves me and loves to show. The heart of an even bigger box, but you know, no matter how great, I still can achieve in a few days! Flash in 10 years, I have 75 pounds and is a day to tackle my first Valentine's Day without chocolate healthy. Is it possible? Can I do this? Why should I do? Was it really possible, or should I just enjoy a day? Flash forward seven years. Chocolate is not even a consideration now.So what has happened in these seven years?
A lot. There is much trial and error. A couple of years, I have only a "small". A couple of years, I had a "lot". A couple of years, are flawed and some did not. So what was best for me? Physically, emotionally, psychologically – for me – was the year I do not like. And it is from someone who absolutely loves chocolate! Actually, I think the name of a chocolate connoisseur, I can literally voters in each chocolatecandy bar. Know the difference between milk chocolate, dark chocolate, crunchy, smooth, fountain, fruit flavors that fall in chocolate. Ah, here we go again! I'm the only one who can do this? No, obviously not, because if a woman requests for chocolate, have the same experience I do. How did that happen? They were all in the same way I was? Chocolate is only a substitute for "I love you"?
Ithat love for my children. Every year, since they were born, I indulge them, which I indulge. Each morning, Valentine's Day party for everyone. I rationalized that my heart-shaped boxes of chocolate are smaller, not so bad for them. It 's still chocolate. But wait, is not healthy for your chocolate? TV and radio and magazines say yes, chocolate is healthy for you. It makes you feel good. It makes you healthy. Really? What it means for your or your scalesugar levels or your self-esteem?
So you can survive another holiday with chocolate? Yes! How?
o Make a promise to themselves. Know your why is it important for you.
Replace ordinary gifts of chocolate or more children thought, as something your child would really need something or your loved one.
Or continue to focus on how you feel, not what you think of chocolate.
or Ignore all the others are doing – be healthyand do not really want to do, not what you put forward to doing, or what the media tells you to do.
