Decorate That Chalet

In order to have a larger than a hut, but they need a little 'work. Or perhaps, the love you have in your house, but want your permanent home may have the same mood. Regardless, here are some tips to decorate your place to see and feel more like a shack.

Color tone: Plan to wear the colors, like a feeling of warmth as a cream, white, pale blue, green or light. Try to stay away from blues bolder, orange or red, as is "occupied" the colors and away fromthe atmosphere you are trying to promote.

Furniture: All furniture must be comfortable and cozy, and should wear the type of room you want to return after a day on the slopes. Large upholstered chairs, ottoman, soft pillows and an Afghan gedrapeer or two at the bank. The furniture does not fit perfectly, just enough, in general, that all pieces of natural wood furniture can fit into a nice accent, as a fellow coffee table or library. Usepieces as you might think if someone puts his feet on the table, it must reflect the comfort, not perfection.

In the bedroom, look for large wooden beds and a large swollen blankets to keep warm. Add a faux fur rug beside the bed, and you're ready to go.

Accessories: Less is more, keep accessories to a minimum by adding a few candles family photos or ski-related documents. Try using natural materials such as ceramics, wood, stone or a service plots for additional heat. Ceramicsbowls and sculptures in wood and mirrors with wood frames fit well. Rescue of colors, this is not a natural scent of flowers or a bowl full of apples, strawberries or multi-colored peppers. Place a large basket on the floor and stuff them with newspapers. Place a small wine rack buffet, with a pair of glasses on hand, ready for use.

Lighting: Lighting should be quiet and subtle. Track lighting strategically placed throughout the room and a pair of table lamps workwell.

Once completed, it would be a home that makes you want to curl up in front of the fireplace with hot chocolate, and where your guests will feel your feet on the coffee table is not. Maybe you feel to have had a country house weekend for a while.
